I must give accolades to ComForCare Home Care of Calabasas for providing the highest level of quality care for my father, mother, and sister over the past year. With three family members confined to wheelchairs, it was a herculean task for Mickey and his team to meet all of their needs on a daily basis. But they did so professionally all the while meeting the needs and demands of my parents and sister. Mickey, the owner, was always available for phone consultations at any time that I needed to speak with him. He helped solve every challenge and provided good advice regarding some very difficult situations. The rates Mickey charges are very reasonable, and less than many other companies considering the number of family members his team was taking care of at once. I highly recommend ComForCare Home Care of Calabasas to anyone who needs help with home care for their loved ones.

My family and I worked with ComForCare in Calabasas (Mickey and Nancy Landesberg) from March, 2021 until my dad’s passing in July of 2022 and we had a very positive experience. Here are the details: In March of 2021 my dad (in his early 90's) was in ongoing decline with Alzheimer’s dementia. My mom (in her late 80's at the time) was needing help. Mickey and Nancy came to my parent’s home to interview my parents, brother and I – basically to assess the situation we were in and start to educate us about the world of caregiving. A week or so later Mickey sent a caregiver, Lydia, to start working at nights. Lydia was a great asset to my mom in the caregiving of my dad. Very skilled, experienced and professional. Within a short period of time, my mom, siblings and I grew to like her and trust her. As my dad continued to decline Mickey and his team provided additional caregivers to care for my dad. Each was typically well vetted, experienced, skilled and easy to work with – we were extremely fortunate. In particular, one of my dad’s daytime caregivers, Sandra, was a God-send. She helped my dad with personal care, assisted him in taking short walks, provided him with companionship, assisted my mom in meal preparation, fed my dad and modeled for all of us how to interact with my dad given his current condition. We all learned a great deal from Sandra. Mickey was also very helpful in supplying subs when needed (i.e. when a caregiver called in sick or had to take the day off for a doctor’s appointment, etc.) Often I would reach out to him with very little notice and he would do his best to schedule someone. The subs that he and his team provided were also wonderful caregivers – all vetted and had years of caregiving experience. Generally speaking, Mickey was really a joy to work with. Mickey was also a source of information and emotional support for me and my family. Having worked with seniors and caregivers for a number of years he was familiar with the challenges we were running into and provided support and useful input. Thank you to Mickey and his team for their support during a difficult era of my family’s life. We greatly appreciate you efforts!

My sister & I used this company for our mom’s home care. Mickey Landisberg runs this company & he is so kind & was so concerned about our mother’s care. My mother loved the home care workers he sent to her house-they were kind & thoughtful & really became my mother’s friends by chatting with her & being concerned about her needs. I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for home care of their loved ones!
