I had a wonderful experience working with ComForCare Ottawa as a caregiver at St. Patrick’s Care Home for four months. The recruitment and onboarding process was smooth, thanks to Shivali, who was incredibly supportive throughout. Preet, one of the care coordinators, provided valuable feedback that helped me improve my skills and deliver the best possible care to the clients I served. When I needed a week off to attend my sister's wedding in India, the team was extremely understanding and granted me the leave without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. The scheduling team was always accommodating, especially with my college schedule, and they were quick to adjust shifts in case of any emergencies. Rose, one of the senior supervisors, was always there to help with any requests I had, while Sarah, another supervisor and care coordinator, handled conflicts with great professionalism. She would investigate issues thoroughly, ensuring the ComForCare team wasn't unfairly blamed, and her constructive feedback helped me grow in my role. Overall, I felt well-supported by the entire team, and I’m grateful for the positive work environment they fostered.
