My loved one has been under the daily care of ComForCare Home Care of Strongsville, Ohio for over a year and a half now. They honestly take care of my brother like I would take care of him if I could. They are proactive in handling my loved one. In other words, they are the first to highlight issues that may arise, and offer solutions in advance of an issue becoming a problem. I would not have my loved one under the care of anyone else. My brother will live longer with ComForCare in his life.

We have the most dedicated Aide, Emerita. She is amazing!!! Unfortunately, my husband has declined. He is a heavy one person assist and has uncontrolled movements at least once or twice a day due to his condition. She never bats an eye, just reassures him, cleans him back up and strips the bed and launders all the sheets/blankets. He never stays in one place for long, so she is constantly transferring and walking with him, and preparing small meals all throughout the day. She never stops working and is so comforting and encouraging to him. I don't know what we would do without Emerita!

Everyone at ComForCare, from their office staff to their caregivers, has been patient, kind and incredibly helpful in assisting me with providing care for my grandfather. On top of providing excellent caregivers, the team at ComForCare has helped me navigate insurance coverage, appointment transportation, additional care resources and more. This is not the first time we have used ComForCare and again we were happy with their great service and professionalism. After a fall and major surgery my mom need care at home. We started with around the clock care and after a few weeks when her strength and stability improved we stepped down the hours. Every step of the way ComForCare was responsive and provided caring and helpful staff to meet my moms needs. The staff provided daily updates by email and a notebook kept at the house letting me know how she was progressing or any difficulties. My mom always felt safe and I had the peace of mind knowing that someone was there for her as she recovered. I recommend ComForCare to my friends and would not hesitate to call them again.

The agency worked to find the right caregiver for my Dad who is aphasic and starting to exhibit dementia. Merrily has been so awesome with my Dad. She took the time to get to know him and figure out how to communicate with him since he cannot speak or write. She makes him laugh and feel like a man, not a child. Treats him with dignity. I'd go crazy without her during this covid 19 shut down. She gives me updates which I really appreciate.

For the past 13+ years, Debbie Vermilion's team has helped us achieve their and our common goal i.e. keeping our parents in their own home for the rest of their lives. We lost Dad in 2010 and Mom last week, and we must thank ComForCare for their critical role in the in-home care of our parents all these years. I highly recommend Deb and her team. It is not always easy to find the right match with a given parent's personality, and sometimes the best matches occurred when we would have least expected it. Mom became very attached to many of the "girls" some became like family after years of service.
