I can’t recommend this company enough. I’ve been burned several times by less than honest bike shops who try to overcharge, take longer than promised and try to tack on extra fees. Greenpath was quick, well priced, and SO pleasant to work with. I have an Aventon E-Bike and it’s hard to find service centers who are familiar with this brand. Not only did they have all of the parts needed in stock but were extremely familiar with the brand (they are also authorized sellers). I’m so happy to have found the ONLY bike shop I’ll ever take my bike to. Thank you so much to everyone on the team and can’t wait to work with them again. A+++++

The staffs here done magic to my e-bike!! My Heybike was tuned up at Bike Habitant days ago. Apparently BikeHabitant didn’t know enough about E-bike. The bike acceleration was completely irregular coming out from their shop and the paddle doesn’t work neither. Today I found out about Greenpath and brought my Heybuje in. Kyshon was the one who helped me. He checked my bike’s issue immediately as I walked in the shop. And pure magic - he did a little testing with the bike and in less than 5 minutes the bike started to work perfectly, acceleration control back to normal and paddle start working. Kyshon was able to find out the problem related to the brake disrupting the acceleration in such short time. This tells me about how experienced and committed the staffs here are. I highly recommend this shop to everyone!!!!!!!! Thank you Kyshon!!!!!!

About 2 weeks ago I left a bad review. I was under the impression that I had been ghosted on part of my order. As it turns out I had added a Google voice number to my cell phone for incoming phone calls and my settings were set up in a manner that outgoing calls were going through my Google voice number and showing up on people's caller ID as restricted or scam call. This explains why no one was picking up my phone calls. To his credit Damon Victor my sales rep immediately took action to correct the situation as soon as he saw my first review. The bike is awesome and Damon is a stand-up guy. If you are looking to purchase an electric bike I highly recommend greenpath.

They now have 2 shops (same street just walk away from the subway). Original shop is service and new shop is showroom. Worked with Damon to pick out a bike for a 4’11” gal. I think we tried like 4-5 bikes over the course of 5 hours. I told him I had to think about it and he said okay no problem with absolutely no pressure. I went to get a sandwich and came back to buy the bike. Damon made sure to run through all important things. Thank you Damon! I was looking into getting an electric folding bike to make both my commute into work and getting around the city easier. I did a lot of research online on which bikes I would be interested in and had narrowed it down to a few. I was most interested in the carbo. Seeing the bike in person and test riding it really made me confident in spending the money on this bike. Additionally, I was able to ask the repair shop about their experience with carbo bikes and if they break down often. There was a lot of expertise around bikes, and I learned a ton, despite spending a size able amount of time doing my own research. Super nice guys, and overall great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next bike purchase!

Went with my son to get him a reliable bike for the commute for his summer job. The experience couldn't have been better. While we had a particular model in mind, the staff made sure he tried multiple bikes with various motors and frames to be sure the one he left with was the one that fit him best. With absolutely no pressure, we wound up choosing the one we had in mind to begin with but with the comfort of knowing that it was also the right bike for him rather than a random guess. Also, the speech at the end about how to be a responsible bike owner was by itself worth the trip. There's nothing better than getting a good deal from people who know their stuff and supporting local businesses. Couldn't be happier and my son has been racking up the miles ever since we got back - he loves the bike and it's really the perfect fit.

Definitely one of the best buying experiences I've had! Damon was so patient with not just answering my questions over the phone but in handling requests that I had (because every bicyclist eventually has a million add-ons they need lol). I had wanted a Gocycle for a long time now and they not only helped me in finding one, gave a pretty realistic timeline on when to expect it, accepted my mish mash of payment types and had everything in working order once I came in. They also gave me a LOT of info about the product itself including safety tips and other tips most people might overlook about the Gocycle, so they definitely know their stuff and all the mechanics were very helpful and friendly! Absolutely the nicest, most patient people to buy an e-scooter from. Ask them anything about e-scooters, they are happy to answer. Bought mine (Glion Dolly) a few months ago but forgot to write a review until now. Bought mine in October 2021. The owner will sit you down and explain all of the pros/cons of whatever scooter you're thinking of. He is very serious about this stuff and will explain anything you want to know. The rest of the staff are also awesome. Seriously, these people are so nice and so willing to explain anything you want to know. If you're local, don't buy from Amazon!!! I understand the impulse to buy from Amazon, but you have no idea what you're getting and there's no real guarantee (their warranties come with a LOT of caveats). I traveled from Manhattan to buy my Glion Dolly and I'm very glad I did. They will sell you what you need, not what is most profitable for them to sell.

Damon and his staff are excellent. I walked in and was able to test ride a couple of folding ebikes right away. After some discussion about the different models, I went with the Qualisport Volador. Perfect for my work commute across into queens. He also spent time to talk to me about safety while riding ebikes, because it is different than riding a normal bike. I went in today for a basic brake adjustment for my Friend ebike. The process was quick, stress free, and VERY fairly priced. Compared to other "reputable" bike shops in the area, the techs were very friendly, open with advice on maintaining my bike, and seemed to be genuinely nice people. I took my Wing pedal-assist bike into another local bike shop, who told me they don't work on e-bikes, and to the manufacturer in the Lower East Side, who told me to find an e-bike service shop. So I was pretty exasperated when I got to Greenpath, but they fixed my bike up quickly and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I am so glad I drove all the way to Brooklyn from Philadelphia to visit Damon and his wonderful team at Greenpath! I was looking for a folding e-bike and had done a lot of research before I went. They had every bike that I was ever interested in ready to test drive. They are welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. My 16 yo grandson and I went out for a nice long test drive, and were able to go up and down some good hills, switch bikes, practice folding and unfolding them, and getting them in and out of my car. We really took our time and never felt rushed. Damon gave me a great deal on the Carbo X, which nobody else even stocks. They customized it for me on the spot. And he sent me home with a very beneficial lecture about safety and how to preserve the battery. Extraordinary experience! Went out for a nice ride today and love my bike! Thanks a million!

Haven't been to the shop as of yet, but they were the most helpful shop I contacted on the phone for a nonstandard brand of ebike. They said they can probably swap out parts and do basic bike maintenance for me, which is really helpful when most bike shops won't touch anything but the brands they are used to, whether that is Trek or Arrow.

Thrilled with the whole experience! After doing a bunch or google reviews and yahoo vids on the E-bikes, I narrowed it down to the Yamaha Cross Core. Searched for authorized dealers, and called Damon at Greenpath. From the first call all the way through to purchasing the bike, he was a pleasure to deal with. Good sense of humor, and shared some sound e-bike wisdom that will keep me off the hood of a car. They had the bike I wanted of course, and his guy Lee (sorry maybe got the name wrong) assembled it in record time while I waited. I was riding within the hour. (Just wish I had a kickstand) Other customers came in while I was their, and he treated everyone the same way. Anyway, a great experience start to finish, no BS. Even though I live in Nassau County, I wouldn’t buy a bike anyplace else in the future.

With the patience of a saint, during a pandemic, limited inventory and restocking timelines that were unpredictable, Damon helped me navigate all the different bike options, giving me his honest thoughts about each along the way.. Nothing short of phenomenal ~ Worked with Damon and team to find the perfect e-bike and had a great experience with them. Custom approach, the right feedback and education for the novice, open and honest about drawbacks of certain models and TOTALLY could have sold me a more expensive option but instead guided me to what I need, not what they could get. Left me feeling like I have started a partnership with a team of people that will help me get the most from my investment and will be there along the way for repairs and such. All employees had masks on and were diligent around safety during our visit, asking that we call ahead before coming in. Awesome place. I just bought a Glion scooter from Greenpath and was considering buying directly through the manufacturer, until I spoke with Damon, Greenpath's owner. Their warranty/maintenance policy, ability to service the scooter in Brooklyn, really nice technicians and wonderful/honest owner, made the choice obvious for me. The whole buying experience was the opposite of a pressured sales pitch. Damon explained how important it is for Greenpath that they carry products that have a great maintenance track record. They do not want to carry products that are going to breakdown during the warranty/maintenance period. This logic benefits both Greenpath and the customer. All around, I feel really lucky to have found Greenpath and Damon.

Everyone there is great! Took their time with me. Listened really well to my concerns about particular bikes and my needs. Let me test ride maybe six or so bikes! Very friendly, great service! It came down to a very hard choice and they didn’t pressure me at all. Damon even called the manufacturer of my bike to help out with a small ticky-tacky thing. Above and beyond awesome. They even threw in a lock for free. Love these guys! Hope I don’t need to see them anytime soon though. Great experience and great bikes!

I didn’t end up finding the right bike for me at this store given that I had a very specific idea in mind of what I was looking for but I still wanted to rate the business based on my customer experience. The owner Damon worked very closely with me in order to find a bike. He explained each bike carefully and what to be aware of when riding, i purchase a Surface 604 Rook, which was a bike that Damon recently stocked in the store for the first time. There was a problem with the first one and he took it right back and ordered another one for me. While the second one was getting built, I ordered a few bike accessories to the store and they installed it on the bike (a basket and cell phone holder) at no extra charge. I took the bike home for a week and realized there were issues with that one as well. I brought it back to the store and they tried to troubleshoot it. It seemed that there was the same problem with the whole batch of these bikes. Damon let me try a few other bikes, even take another one home to test drive for a week. I came back because I felt it wasn’t the right fit. I asked for a refund which he gave me with no questions asked. All this while despite the stress of dealing with getting a batch of bikes like he did, he was really pleasant to work with and had no hard feelings. He even continued to make recommendations for things I should pay attention to and look for as I continued to research a bike. He also directed me to check with another store in Brooklyn that he thought would have what I’m looking for. All in all, I appreciated my experience at the store even though I didn’t end up taking a bike home. Thank you Damon for all your hard work!

After exstensive research on ebikes, finally pull trigger on Yamah Cross Connect. Damon & Keeshan are both very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are undecided go into the shop and pick their brains, they enjoy educating, great selection of ebikes to test ride. GREAT service, picked up bike the day it was delivered to them. BTW absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Yamah, no buyers remorse here. IMHO $$ for $$ Yamaha delivers the most bang for your $$.

Went here after trying a few other E-bike places. GreenPath is by far the most knowledgeable, experienced, and informative place to make a purchase! I was allowed to test ride multiple bikes all the while Damon would teach me about how they work, and whats different between each bike. All to find the best ride for me. I left with the perfect bike and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I seriously recommend paying them a visit if you are curious about trying E-bikes!

The owner Damon is so funny. Straight forward and direct to the point. I just dropped my 2012 Sunfire white and black Fuji bike. Installing a mid drive motor kit and battery with, spped/break and gear sensors. Paid $250+tax $272 and change. Looking forward to the results when the bike is done! The technician, seems reserved not an extravert but friendly and seems to be help/workful to customers that walk in!

The owner/manager Damon built great repertoire with me quickly because his VERY honest assessment of his own ebikes. He also demonstrated a strong fund of knowledge of electric bikes making my purchasing decision-making easier. His salesperson enthusiasm for electric bikes was infectious, making me very passionate about electric bikes in a matter of 2 weeks. After shopping around at other NYC ebike shops, I felt VERY comfortable buying the luxurious Stromer ST2 from Greenpath. I look forward to buying a second ebike from them for my girlfriend soon.

I had been looking for a folding electric bike with 20" wheels that might fit in the back of a Cessna 172. I had a few models in mind, one of which was the GoCycle G3. I tried a few stores in New York City and New Jersey. It seems as if most e-bike retailers focus on one or two brands, since the handful of retailers around here seem to have very little selection to choose from and none had the GoCycle or another e-bike that would fold up small enough to fit into the plane, unless I went with a smaller wheel. Then, I walked into Greenpath. Unlike everyone else, they had many brands to choose from. When I explained to Damon, who I believe is the owner of the shop, that I needed to find a bike that will fit into a plane, he pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of a GoCycle that he sold to another customer that was being loaded into a Cessna 172. I noticed that the tail number of the plane was actually one of the Cessnas belonging to my flight club. I pointed this out to Damon, who informed me that [name redacted -- one of my club members] bought two GoCycles. He then called him on the phone and handed the phone to me so I could get a first hand review from someone with whom I was acquainted. The club member told me that the bike performs well (even towing a small trailer) and that he can indeed fit BOTH GoCycles and the folding trailer in the CARGO area (yes, the CARGO area, not the back seats, which is what I thought I would have to do) of a 172. With, that I needed a test ride. Greenpath was the only place I found that had a GoCycle demo to try. While they only had a G2 and not the newer G3 I ultimately ordered, the G2 showed me enough to bite the expensive bullet and order one. When you consider they threw in a number of GoCycle accessories for free, which would have otherwise been insanely expensive for me if ordered retail, Greenpath gave me a decent price. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They set up the bike and the iPhone app well and gave a basic tutorial upon delivery. If you are looking for a large selection in NYC, I have not seen anyone who has more. The only downside is that the shop is a bit crowded and not as showy as other bike shops, but I'll crowed with bikes over lack of selection any day. Note: Having just picked it up, I have not yet had the opportunity to put the bike in the plane myself, but given what my club member told me, I doubt I will have any problem fitting one bike, when he can fit two.

I ordered a bike through them, during shipping through no fault of their own there was some very minor cosmetic damage done to the battery casing. They told me about the damage (that I probably wouldn't have noticed) and offered me a $50.00 refund or a free lock. Great guys, stand up business, only wish they had a shop in my neighborhood.
