Very fast,get to get the job done..
I called about flags in my yard which had not been ordered by me . I suspected that they were ordered by att. My suspicions were correct. I think att is trying to get business in my neighborhood. They do not yet know how to set up / install fiber optics. They had placed flags in areas that have never been placed before. I believe they are engaging in illegal activities while trying to generate business. I do not think Ms Dig placed those flags. I think Att did. They don't have the authority to do that. I thank Ms Dig for alerting Att that they should remove those flags before I initiated legal action against them . I would have done so. I am no pushover. Quite intelligent. Not very polite to a homeowner.
They provide a valuable service. Dig request can be submitted online and are kind of complicated but I figured it out. Good responses to keep me informed. Mike did the marking and called me to clarify exactly what I needed to dig for to make sure he fulfilled my request.
I just called (about 5 pm) waited for a while and very professional lady responded, took all my information, created ticket and answered all of my questions. Minute later I received an email with details including a map of the area I want to be marked. Thank you!
Desk help at miss dig are very nice and helpful. The rest of this process is frustrating. Also, every company I've waited to give a positive response has done so except my own city of Davison sewer, water etc.. I can't begin my project today because of they haven't answered. Frustrating.

Like the miss dig system really helpful. Some of the locators that mark out utilities are not always the best but the miss dig system is easy to use and free. Positive response is also nice can check the status of ticket
They definitely did their job. However I was under the impression that they found all wires. I guess they only find The wire up to the fuse box. But when you meet her and fuse boxes on the outside pole and then the wire runs to your house and you're trying to put a deck on the back of your house they won't find it for you.
They came out on time& everything was great! One of the service men dropped his pocket knife at my house it's a nice one, anyway I can return it?

All bad reviews are because of utility employees.... I’m not sure if everyone understands that miss dig is just a easy way to communicate to every underground utility company...
I work for a construction company and call Miss Dig often to locate utilities. I have always had a great experience when I call. They are very friendly and helpful. Even the first time I called and had no experience they were patient and guided me through the process.

Phone dispatchers have a good response time in handling my call when I have to call for help with unmarked or miss marked lines. Different education events are offered in my area regularly so that I can stay up on current safety practices and laws. Miss Dig staff really seem like they want to be part of the team in keeping contractors safe and protecting the utilities.
I have really appreciated the Ticket Response availability on line. I submit marking requests frequently as a part of my job and it is very convenient to be able to access the up-to-date status of each ticket. When there has been a problem with a lack of response from a utility, I have been impressed with the assistance of the phone operator to help me resolve the problem in a timely manner.
Miss Dig performs a very important service for the entire State of Michigan. Although Miss Dig does not actually perform flagging and painting of the underground facilities, Miss Dig is frequently blamed (incorrectly). Please remember that Miss Dig is a nonprofit service that takes requests and passes them onto the facility owner/operator to perform the locating service.
I called them up because we needed to dig up bush stumps in front of our house. They were very fast to respond with my request and the customer service representative was very accommodating when I called to set up a ticket.
I use Miss Dig frequently for my job and find the staff courteous- Lynn is one of my favorite operators. :) I do most of my locating online but do make many calls for emergency locating. That being said, it was changed to only one locate/ticket per caller this year. I see the necessity of not allowing many tickets to be done per caller but at least two would be nice. Earlier this year, I had an emergency that required two tickets and was difficult to describe. Luckily after calling back immediately for my second ticket, I did get the same operator so she easily knew my location.

After reading one negative review after another, I was a little reluctant to call. The lady I spoke with was nice enough, took my info in a timely manner, and said someone would be out on Friday 4/13. I came home Friday around 3pm to place markers where I asked. Everything was in order as told.
Request personnel not the happiest folks. The service doesn’t seem to care about “your schedule “. Locators have always been nice and helpful and accurate. Overall, my experiences have been good. 7/18 I am updating this review due to recent interaction with Miss Dig. Called in July to request locate service and talked with Dayna. Very helpful, cheerful and pleasant lady. Great experience. Upgraded to 4 Stars.
