Rising Star Feedback Award

The last thing you ever want to see in your house is water where it shouldn't be. For us that nightmare became a reality. After calling numerous companies, this company stood out to me because of their knowledge and empathy. They didn't try to sell me on some expensive drainage system. I was fortunate to only have some water intrusion due to settling cracks, so they knew the perfect solution for me. They answered all my questions and was able to come out to fix my issue in 2 days! The guys who came out were so respectful of our house and even took off their shoes because they didn't want track in mud. They covered all of our stuff in the basment to protect it from dust and got right to work! I'm very pleased and would recommend them to anyone!
As a homeowner, not many things are worst than having water coming into your basement. Luckily for me and many others, there's Smith's Waterproofing. These guys are the real deal and do honest work. Blair the owner himself, met me at my house late after work to scope out my basement. He walked me through what needs to be done, how they do it, and what the finished product would look like. He showed me pictures of the pipe system installed, what the panels would look like and much more. He was very informative and gave me the confidence I needed, to select what company was going to do my basement waterproofing. I called Basement Plus, Mid-Michigan basements, and Foundation Systems. All these guys were trying to sell me on the service before even looking at my basement. They even write up the contract before they leave your house so you can sign it. So the next day after meeting with Blair, I called Smiths Waterproofing and scheduled my interior system. The foreman Mitch came out with his crew, protected my hallways and counter tops, hung plastic to stop dust from spreading, and even ran hepa filters to collect the dust. In about 6 days, my basement went from wet to bone dry. Don't hesitate to call these guys, Smith's Waterproofing is a true 5 star company.
Super honest and sympathetic on the phone. 5/5 for service
I don't write many reviews, unless they are truly warranted. This is the first time I've had water issues in a home, so I didn't know what to expect, besides allot of angst on how much dust and dirt there would be, and if the water would stop seeping in the basement. From the moment they arrived, I felt like I was a VIP. They didn't let me move a finger, and moved everything in the middle of the basement, protected it with plastic, and had me turn off my furnace to prevent any dust from getting into the air ducts. They protected my carpet, and left the job cleaner than when they arrived. They walked me through some unexpected issues and resolved those as well. They were quick to stop the water, and I can now see the water going into the sump pump instead of my basement. Of many other contractors I've worked with on other issues, they were by far the best. I can now sleep at night. Thank you Smith Waterproofing!
They fixed my mothers basement that was leaking and did an excellent job!
Smith's came out a few months ago to my work and sealed the exterior foundation. We have had several rainstorms and quite a bit of flooding in our area over the past month or so and our office has stayed nice and dry. We were talking about it today, and we could only imagine what kind of damage we would be looking at now had we not called Smith's. Thank you again! You guys are the best.
We used Smith's Waterproofing at our own home and my Dad's home as well. They did an excellent job and guaranteed their work. Would recommend to anyone.
I highly recommend this company. They know basement for sure. Mine was a wet mess, they came in and I'm dry.
This company is AMAZING! They are very quick, thorough, friendly and just all around great! Blair and Mitch answered all of my many questions and kept us informed throughout the entire process of waterproofing our basement. I will only recommend Smith's Waterproofing to anyone who is in need of such services! Thank you so much!
We had a crack in our basement wall, that was leaking water really bad when it rained. I called Smith's and they sent out a technician the next day for a polyurethane injection. I forgot the guys name, but he was very thorough and did a good job cleaning up his mess. Cost was $400 with a lifetime warranty. That was money well invested. Don't waste your time trying hydraulic cement. It will only crack and leak again.
